Titans Status After Week 2

I realize that the majority of my viewers probably have little to no knowledge about the topic of this blog, however that is why I am going to inform you why the Tennessee Titans will win this years super bowl. Every week from here on out this blog will cover what is going on inside of the Titans locker room and what to expect when they step onto the field to play.

The main story being covered by the media on the Titans right now is the status of star quarterback Vince Young. Young was Tennessee's first round draft pick in 2006 and started his career off great. However in the second year and this year Young has faced a great number of challenges. His fans believe that he isn't living up to his potential and are now starting to boo him at their games. In week 1 of this season Young started off great, however after an interception and an injury his career was called into question. On Tuesday Young disappeared from his house, worried Titans Coach Jeff Fisher called the police to locate Young. The QB was found at his friends house watching football and since then their has been a question of his mental state. According titansonline.com Vince young stated that he was never depressed and that his only difficultly right now is that he is dealing with a serious injury for the first time in his life.

The Titian's star QB did not start in their week 2 matchup against Cincinati, however even without Young the Titans were still able to gain the win against the Bengles. The Titans started back up quarterback Kerry Collins, who threw his first touchdown pass of the season and thanks to help from their amazing defense and great run game, the Titans not only beat Cincinati but destroyed them in a 24-7 victory. The Titans defense blocked one of the Bengles punts and then recovered it in the end zone for a touchdown, and new rookie Chris Johnson ran for an impressive 109 yard in his second game.
